I’d urge anyone with even the remotest interest in veterans’ ‘post traumatic growth’ and ‘narrative repair’ to visit Simon Harmer’s blog.

Not only does it provide an account of his ‘critical trauma incident‘, but it looks at how he arrived at that point, and the ‘post traumatic growth‘ experience.

This is exactly what I am trying to capture in my thesis, and explain in other posts here, but without the apparent skill and ease with which Simon writes.

I hope he is enjoying the growth his narrative promises. It certainly looks like he is.
